Pressure gauge for vehicle pneumatic tyres

The pressure gauge includes a signal housing (44) associated with the rim well (12) and connected to the tyre valve (20) and adjustable relative to it. The housing contains an electronic transmitter to provide the measured value for the tyre pressure. A receiver outside the tyre and associated with the transmitter receives and evaluates the signals. Where there is an axial bore in the tyre valve the signals housing is attached to the valve through a screw (40) engaging in the bore (28) and is thereby adjustable. The top of the hollow screw adjoins the side of a long wall of the signal housing remote from the valve. The long wall has an oblong hole extending parallel to the end faces of the housing for the hollow shaft of the screw.
