Polyolefin elastomer blends with balanced stiffness and thermal expansion

Polyolefin elastomer compsn. (I) contains an elastomer comprises crystalline polypropylene (PP) and ethylene- alpha -olefin rubber (EOR) and 0-15 phr talc. The PP/EOR wt. ratio is 35/65 to 67/33; the PP has a Q value (MW/Mn) /- 10 and flow of 50-120; and EOR has an alpha -olefin content of 10-20 wt.%; and the fractions Y pts. wt. talc and X pts. wt. EOR are such that Y /- -0.63X + 34. Also claimed are an unpainted injection moulded elongated prod. made from (I); a compsn. (II) based on PP, EOR and EPR for making an elongated injection moulded prod. for a painted article; another compsn. (III) based on PP, EOR and EPR; and (partly) painted injection mouldings made from compsns. (II) and (III). All mouldings have an embossed decorative surface.
