Distance measurement arrangement

The distance measurement arrangement comprises a signal source (MWO), generating a micro wave signal (ST), and a frequency modulated signal source (SQ), generating a frequency modulated signal (SZF). A mixer produces a first mixed signal, by combining the microwave signal and the frequency modulated signal. A transmission/reception unit transmits the first mixed signal, and receives a signal reflected by an object. A second mixer produces a second mixed signal, by combining the received signal and the microwave signal. A delay element (LZL) delays the second mixed signal for a predetermined time period, and a third mixer (QMI) produces a third mixed signal responsive to a distance of the object, by combining the second mixed signal and the frequency modulated signal.
