摘要 FIELD: power-plant engineering; stationary or transport power plants. SUBSTANCE: steam formed in boiler flows not only into steam turbine but into through resonance tube which is used as additional heating element of boiler due to heat released because of self-excited oscillations of gas column. Intermittent combustion chamber may be used as additional or main heating element of boiler. Construction of intermittent combustion chamber differs from that of continuous combustion chamber in availability of through resonance tube which considerably enhances generation of steam. One turbodrive of any unit of power plant may be mounted at outlet of through resonance tube and/or through resonance tube of intermittent combustion chamber. Too great longitudinal size of intermittent combustion chamber may be reduced if use is made of resonance tube tightly closed at one end instead of through resonance tube. Besides that, plant is provided with compressor which delivers air to through resonance tube, thus making it possible to deliver entire steam formed in boiler to steam turbine, but not part of it. Plant is also provided with compressor delivering air to intermittent combustion chamber, thus enhancing efficiency of combustion chamber and plant as a whole. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
