Powder for forming sintered insulating glaze layer

Powder mixt. for sintered electrically insulating layer prodn. consists of crystalline non-metallic material and glass-forming material, the crystalline non-metallic material having a sintering activity leading to formation of a filled glaze on sintering at a temp. corresponding to at least the melting temp. of the glass-forming material and having itself a relative sintered density of /- 95%. Also claimed is a method of producing an electrically insulating ceramic layer using the above powder mixt.
