<p>The object of the invention is to avoid registration problems in a sheet-fed offset rotary press for high-quality colour printing requiring minimum space. For that purpose the rotary press has two form cylinders (33, 34) and two impression cylinders (21, 22) with in each case at least two printing surfaces (36, 37, 38, 39) that cooperate with a printing cylinder (14) that has one printing surface more than a form cylinder (33, 34), and the sheets (97, 98, 99) are removed from the printing cylinder (14) only after printing is completely finished.</p> |
