Prosthesis for finger joint

The joint prosthesis contains a joint (3), arranged between two pistons (4,5), which can slide axially into screws (1,2) which are fixed into two separate bones. The ends (42,52) of the piston are connected by a rotating pin (30). The amplitude of the rotational movement of one piston (4), relative to the other piston (5), is bounded by two stop walls (54,55) on the second piston (5). One stop wall (54) is parallel to the axis of the piston and the other (55) is vertical to this axis. The stop walls are formed in a recess (53) in the ball shaped head (52) of one piston. The side walls (56,57) of the recess extend conically outwards from their middle, in the proximity of one stop wall (54), and become thinner near the other stop wall (55).
