This invention refers to a device for bringing about the closure or the opening of the mouth of a doll, this device being composed of two rigid arms which pass through the corresponding mounting neck flange of the head and body of the doll, these two arms being separated by a spring placed between them within the cavity of the body of the doll itself, while the part of their length within the head incorporates an axis for rotation at the end of the fixed arm to permit a first lever to swing, this lever being articulated at one end in the said axis, while the opposite end is joined to the upper lip of the mouth of the doll, this said lever being equipped with a slot approximately half way along its length, in which a pin moves, this pin being joined to the end of a second lever affixed to the swinging arm and articulated with this at an axis for the swinging of both, such that pressure and the corresponding swinging thrust towards the fixed arm brings about the swinging of the first lever and the displacement of the lower lip downwards, closing the mouth, or upwards, in which second case the opening of the mouth is increased. |
