PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guiding drum which can guide as well a stiff sheet of paper as a thin sheet without rubbing their surfaces. SOLUTION: At least one member in approx. a truncated cone is provided on one side of a sheet guide drum, and facing it in specular symmetry, at least one, second member in approx. a truncated cone is provided on the other side of the sheet guide drum. These truncated members constitute hollow sheet guide rings (7-10). The conical sheath area of these guide rings (7-10) admits penetration of the sent air blowing to it. At least one air stream blows into each of the guide rings (7-10).
