Folding roof for vehicle

The roof has a rear section (2) with a rear screen that slides backwards and downwards into a horizontal position between rear posts (5). It uses guide channels (3,6) in the inner side of the bodywork side walls (8). The rear posts then swivel backwards with the leading roof section (11) by means of a rotary movement about the vehicle's transverse axis (10), such that the leading section lies on top of the rear section. The leading and rear sections are approximately congruent parts.
