Thin, lightweight slabs absorbing sound of footsteps with lamellar lower structure

Slabs which absorb the sound of footsteps, have a supported lower surface (2) and an upper treading surface. The new feature is the use of a lightweight aggregate concrete, with comb-like lamellae (3) formed onto the lower surface. Pref. the light concrete is made of cement bound EPS or styrofoam. Alternatively an expanded plant material is used as an additive in the concrete. The treading surface (1) is left unfinished. Lamellae (3) are formed by incisions (4) on the underside; they may be parallel to an edge, and cover the entire underside. They may be arranged in groups (5, 6) of differing inclination.
