Concrete post and beam wall with plastics panels for reducing noise

The wall has vertical posts (2) with load carrying concrete beams (4) between them. Sound absorbing esp. injection moulded recycled plastics casing (8) covered modular panels (6) have mechanical fixings (15) to attach them to at least one side (5) of the panels. The casing has holes in its surface and is filled with a mat or wad of sound absorbing material (14). The sound reducing panels are independent of the supporting structure. Sound enters the panels through the comparatively large holes in the casing.
