The lock has a locking element movable between open and closed positions by a drive with two electric motors and a slider. A blocking part on the slider engages a blocking device in the closed position and is disengaged by the drive before it moves the locking element to the open position. The drive has two drive elements in the form of threaded spindles (61,62) arranged parallel to each other and to a first axis. An auxiliary slider (60) on each spindle is a threaded nut which moves along the spindle axis as the spindle rotates. The auxiliary sliders interwork with a differential drive contg. at least one lever (57) pivotably linked to the slider or to a thrust piece (18) with a drive connection to the slider and movable in the first axial direction.
