摘要 As the power density and efficiency of electric machines increase, it is desirable to utilize the active machine volume uniformly and as fully as possible. The results attainable are restricted both by physical effects, such as leakage flux and pole sensitivity, and manufacturing techniques. According to the invention, the surface of the interferric space used for magnetic purposes on the exciter side is increased as a result of the pole gap being stepped in the direction of movement, without thereby impairing the magnetic coupling or increasing pole sensitivity. The structural shape of the exciter pole surfaces and the stamping process enable electric machines to be designed in an advantageous manner in terms of magnetization, so increasing efficiency and power densities.
