Socket for connection of light plug part in optical module

The socket includes a bush (3) which admits and holds a terminal (9) of the light plug part. An optical reference plane (2,7) is provided on a lower part of the bush and contacts the lower end of the terminal of the light plug part when the terminal is completely inserted in the bush. The bush has a number of grooves which are formed in the inner walls of the bush. The grooves extend from the end of the bush in which the terminal is inserted up to the optical reference plane. The grooves run parallel to the terminal insertion direction.
