METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING MOULDED ICE PRODUCTS

A method and apparatus for moulding ice statutes using a mould (10) formed of a liquid impervious flexible material which defines a mould cavity (12) having the shape of the statue to be formed and a pair of extending wall portions (16) which are held in a juxtaposed attitude during the freezing process. For demoulding the wall portions (16) are moved apart to increase the cross-sectional size of the mould (10) to allow it to be released from the statue formed.
