摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent defective flatness by controlling a roll bending force at the time of the (i+1)th pass based on the detected precipitousness of rolled stock, sheet crown and rolling load at the time of the i-th pass in reverse rolling. CONSTITUTION:When reverse rolling according to rolling pass schedule is done, the roll bending force of a rolling mill at the time of the (i+1)th pass is controlled so as to prevent a defective flatness of rolled stock based on the detected precipitousness of rolled stock, sheet crown and rolling load at the time of the i-th pass and the predicted value and predicted error of them from a model equation. In this way, the flatness of rolled stock is predicted with high accuracy and can be controlled, the generation of draw-in at the time of rolling is prevented and the load of straightening can be reduced.</p>
