<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent picture while minimizing the ringing of a video signal by using a signal in response to a ratio of a detection output of a ringing quantity to a detection output of a fixed level in an input signal as a phase addition data. CONSTITUTION:An FM video signal is inputted to an input terminal 1 and a video signal of a base band not subject to pre-emphasis is inputted to an input terminal 5. The signals are selected by an input switching circuit 4, fed to an A/D conversion circuit 7, where the signal is A/D-converted. The digital signal subject to A/D conversion is fed to a phase difference detection circuit 8, a phase error output is obtained and fed to a fixed level detection circuit 13 and a ringing detection circuit 14. The detection of fixed level specified by the sending side and the ringing quantity is applied by the circuits 13, 14 and the ratio of the quantities is obtained by a ratio calculation circuit 15, from which a ringing quantity having a relative sign is outputted and added to a phase error output by an adder 9.</p> |
