The subject-matter of the invention is a re-usable package for cylindrical fluorescent lamps. The package (1) according to the invention consists of plastic. It has an integral shell body (3) with a square cross-section and two end elements (2) which close the end-side openings of the package (1). A simple closure device (8, 9) allows the end elements (2) and the side part (3) to be separated from one another manually or by machine using minimum pressure and a simple leverage tool.
