<p>The submersible-pump (submerged-pump) assembly (unit) essentially consists of an electric motor (1) and a centrifugal pump driven thereby, which are arranged coaxially in a common casing (2). It has an inlet port (15) and an outlet port constructed as a discharge nozzle (16). Concentrically with the impeller (10) there runs a casing wall (21) which surrounds the impeller and has a fillet (18) which forms a stagnation zone for the discharge-side flow. Adjoining in or near this stagnation zone there is a duct (17), for example in the form of a pipe, which runs to the discharge nozzle (16). <IMAGE></p> |
