<p>The door opening mechanism is particularly for vehicle doors, acting on a lock comprising a catch fixed to a column and a bolt opposite it. A control lever (9) acts on the bolt (4), freeing it from the catch (2) so as to open the door (1). The lever and its operating button (10) are mounted between the bolt and the outer panel of the door, without protruding beyond the plane of the latter. They are accommodated in a zone accessible to the users hand, and formed by the door joint (8) and the transverse recess (11). The latter is formed at the level of the lock, between the outer door panel and the fixed adjacent panel (7) secured to the column (3).</p> |
