Influencing the activity of plant growth regulators

Increasing and/or prolonging in vivo or in vitro activity of plant growth regulators (PGRs) comprises locally increasing the concn. of active PGRs in a plant and/or plant parts and/or increasing the sensitivity of the plant and/or plant parts to the PGRs. Also claimed are: (a) chemically modified PGRs; (b) plants, cuttings or somatic embryos which have been vegetatively multiplied, physiologically manipulated or genetically modified, and (c) a kit for the method as above.
