PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell of a solid highpolymer electrolyte type capable of removing the liquefied water contained in an inflowing reaction gas. SOLUTION: A fuel cell of solid highpolymer electrolyte type (stack) 1 uses pressure plates 2A, 2B furnished internally with a water drop removing device 21, different from any conventional arrangement. The device 21 is composed of a water storing chamber 211 to store removing water 4a a through hole 212 provided in a location mating with a through hole 921 provided in an insulated board 92, and a through hole 213 formed at the bottom of the water storing chamber 211 and equipped with female threads for pipe. A through hole 931 is located identical to the position where the hole 212 is formed about the horizontal direction, and below the through hole 212 while a dimensional difference H is reserved in the vertical direction. That is, the water drop removing device 21 is configured so that the hole 931 serves as an inlet for an oxidator gas 98, the hole 212 as an outlet for the oxidator gas 98, and the hole 213 as a drain port for the removing water 4a. |
