PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ink absorption properties, durability and scuff resistance by providing a layer containing cationized cellulose, specific cellulose fiber on a support base. SOLUTION: In order to provide an ink jet recording sheet having excellent ink absorption properties, water resistance and scuff resistance, a layer containing cationized cellulose and microfibrillated cellulose is provided on a support base. As the cationized cellulose, the cellulose cationized by introducing cationic group such as ammonium group or amino group to the cellulose is used. As the microfibrillated cellulose, the cellulose of vegetable fiber cut longitudinally by tearing is used. As the board, a polyester sheet coated with primer is used. |
