PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for ink jet recording a fresh image without boundary smearing in the case of adjacent printing two types of inks without irregularly thick line even in the case of superposing black and different color inks by giving black image having a sharp edge with high color density in the case of forming a color image with three or more colors having black color. SOLUTION: In the method for ink jet recording a color image by using three or more color inks including black color, the color component of the black ink is pigment dispersed by polyvinyl pyrrolidone and the color ink except the black color contains at least polyacid and dye.
