SOLUTION: This picture/sound compressing device is provided with a compression part 3 for compressing video data, a compression part 7 for compressing audio data, a 4M D-RAM 5 e.g. in the case of processing the data of SIF size, and a buffer control part 4 for controlling the D-RAM 5. The control part 4 uses the D-RAM 5 for the compression processing of video data 10 the compression part 3 and timing adjustment at the time of outputting the compressed video data and uses remaining capacity for timing adjustment at the time of outputting compressed audio data in the compression part 7. |
