PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an displacement detecting apparatus compact by using one coil for detecting displacement and make the displacement detection apparatus superior in temperature characteristic by using a driven element chugging the electric resistance in accordance with ambient temperature. SOLUTION: A coil 1 wound to have a specified length and an outer cylinder 13 of a length approximately the same as or larger than that of the coil 1 which is a non-magnetic and relatively good electrically conductive body are arranged to be movable in the axial direction of the coil 1. The coil 1 is driven with a constant current of an A.C. signal. The driving voltage of the coil 1 which changes in proportion to displacement of the outer cylinder 13 is made to be output signal. Two sets of resistor circuits 6, 7 are connected in series between two leading lines 3 and 4 of the coil 1, and a third leading wire 7 is drawn out from a connecting point. At least one of the resistor circuits 5, 6 changes its resistance value in accordance with ambient temperature. |
