PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an article management system in which the change in information relating to articles is acquired immediately by an article manager. SOLUTION: In the article management system provided with a host computer 1, a line 2, a base station 4 and a portable radio terminal equipment 5, the transmission request of article information from a person in charge of a counter is sent to the host computer 1 from the portable radio terminal equipment 5 via the base station 4 and the line 2. The host computer receiving the transmission request sends the information relating to the article to the portable radio terminal equipment 5 and the information is displayed on the liquid crystal display device of the portable radio terminal equipment 5. That is, the base station 4 is installed in a shop, the person in charge of the counter acquires immediately the article information from the host computer 1 by using the portable radio terminal equipment 5. |
