PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable generation of a stabilized torque from a motor without relation to an output voltage of a battery in a motor controller which executes the equivalent lower field control by conducting the energization of the motor from the power feeding from the battery and also feeding the field current to the motor in the high speed region. SOLUTION: A current control circuit 101 in the motor controller 100 obtains the requested torque Tq* from the opening degree of an accelerator and also obtains a command value Iq* of a torque current from this requested torque Tq*. The command value Id* of the field current is computed from the rotating speed N of the motor 200, output voltage V of the battery 300 and the torque current command value Iq*. As a result of the computation considering the voltage V, when the battery 300 is consumed to provide a lower output voltage, the rotating speed for starting energization with the field current in conjunction with above process is also lowered. |
