PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propulsion unit for a simplified boat to facilitate handling by a method wherein a grasping part is arranged at the end part, opposite to the propulsion unit, of a coupling rod to intercouple the propulsion device and a running tool body and the coupling rod is bendably formed between the running tool body and the propulsion unit. SOLUTION: A running tool body 2 and a motor-driven type propeller type propulsion unit 4 are intercoupled through a coupling rod 3 to form a marine running tool 1. The coupling rod 3 is formed in a single rod-form state bendable in the middle in such a way that a pipe body 10 on the running tool body side and a pipe body 11 on the propulsion unit side are intercoupled through a joint 12. The pipe body 10 on the running tool body side has an end part, opposite to the joint 12, at which a handle 13 serving as a grasping part is fixed, the pipe body on the running tool body side being rotatably supported in such a state to extend through the casing of the running tool body 2. |
