PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the entire surface of an inspection object work, e.g. a tablet or a capsule, using a small number of cameras. SOLUTION: The inspection equipment 1 comprises a transfer system 3 for inspection and an image pickup processor 4. The transfer system 3 comprises a plurality of rollers 5 for mounting an object and moving the object in the transferring direction while turning, an object, i.e., a work 2, shaped to turn between adjacent rollers 5, and a guide 6 disposed on the roller 5 in order to regulate the moving path of work 2 so that the work 2 can be viewed obliquely from sideward. The image pickup processor 4 comprises a dome-like reflector 12 surrounding the roller 5, guide 6 and work 2 at the position for inspecting the work 2, a light source 13 for illuminating the inner surface of the reflector 12, a camera 14 disposed obliquely above the work 2 while facing the work 2, and an image processing unit 15 for inspecting the shape of work 2 based on video signals received from the camera 14. |
