摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of expectation and thrilling touch held by a player by altering a reference value in the direction of shortening a variable display control time length when a probability of holding variable display conditions is higher. SOLUTION: It is judged whether a variable display control time length should be shortened or not according to the frequency of starting memory at the starting time when changing of patterns is started in a variable display device 24. In the normal operation, when the frequency of starting memory shown by an LED 33 is four, for instance, the variable display control time length is shortened. During the changing of probability, when the frequency of staring memory is more than one, for instance, the variable display time length is shortened. At this point, the number of starting prizes is stored into a prize memory counter in a RAM. The value of a prize memory counter in the RAM is compared with a shortening conditions checking value in the RAM to judge and it is determined whether the variable display control time length should be shortened or not. The value of the prize memory counter is compared with the shortening conditions checking value at each time immediately before the changing of the patterns is started in the variable display device 24.
