<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily obtain signal strength for recording and reproducing in the vicinity of a tape edge by raising tape tension in the vicinity of the tape edge at the inlet side and the outlet side of a rotary drum. SOLUTION: In a video camera device, slant guides 9 and 13 on their moving blocks are arranged to increase a tape winding angle to the rotary drum on the side of the tape edge adjacent to a position of scanning the magnetic tape T by a magnetic head 10 at the inlet side and the outlet side of the rotary drum 11 respectively. Then, in order to increase at least the tape tension on the side of the tape edge adjacent to the scanning position of the magnetic tape 10, the slant guides are arranged in slant attitude give a twist to the magnetic tape T.</p> |
