PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze the clause relation with high precision and at low cost against a conventional character processing method where the large capacity is needed for storage of examples and the time is increased for retrieval of examples and analysis of the clause relation. SOLUTION: The character processing is carried out by making reference to an example dictionary which contains the combination information on affinitive words and an anti-example dictionary which contains the combination information on the certainty of combination of words meaning the higher concepts of non-affinitive words. In such a processing method, an example extraction process S8-4 is prepared where an example including a prescribed word and an anti-example are extracted through retrieval of both example and anti-example dictionaries, together with a certainty adjustment process S8-6 where the certainty corresponding to the words of the example dictionary is increased and reduced if the rate of extracted examples is larger and smaller than the prescribed threshold value respectively against the number of extracted anti-examples, and a conversion process S8-4 where a conversion candidate in which the clauses are converted into a prescribed expression based on the retrieved examples and anti-examples is decided. |
