<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully bring out the property in a thermoelectric generating element even when the extremely low temperature material is used by locating a Bi-Te based thermoelectric element and a Bi-Te.Bi-Sn joined thermoelectric element as a p-n type pair structure. SOLUTION: A Bi-Te based thermoelectric element 11 and a Bi-Te.Bi-Si joined thermoelectric element 12 are located as a p-n type pair structure. In other words, the Bi-Te.Bi-Sb joined thermoelectric element 11 is p-n connected to the Bi-Te based thermoelectric element 11 through an electrode 13 by a Bi-Te constituent section 12a of the element 12. By this method, even when a cryogenic material such as LNG is used, the property in a thermoelectric generating element can be fully brought out.</p> |
