PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform signal delivery free from omission and duplication of data without phase comparison with a period longer than the frame period. SOLUTION: A memory 2 for data storage is connected between a picture compressor and a VTR, and a state detector 12 which discriminates the deviation between write and read clock frequencies of the memory 2 in accordance with the state of the memory 2 is provided. Voltage controlled oscillators(VCO) 7 and 11 which generate write and read clock signals 6 and 10 of the memory 2 are controlled by the output or the state detector 12. The data rate on the write side is so changed that a prescribed interval is kept between the data write position to and the data read position from the memory 2, thereby making the total number of input data and that of output data coincide with each other; and thus, the digital signal input/output device free from omission and duplication of data is realized. |
