METHOD AND DEVICE OF LASER MARKING

PURPOSE: To provide a method and its device of a laser marking capable of simply and easily applying a laser marking having a small identification deterioration for an objective material and an excellent corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: In the laser marking method and its device, a liquid 14 or a gas which is a medium transmitting a laser beam LB is put into a container 15 and the objective material 16 is placed into the liquid 14 or the gas. The surface of the objective material 16 is irradiated via a scanning optical system 12 or the like with the laser beam LB by a CW laser or pulse laser oscillated from a laser device 11. An oxide or the change of rugged shapes according to material raising phenomena and surface layer removing phenomena are produced on the surface of the objective material 16 by being irradiated with the laser beam LB and the oxide and the shape change are utilized as the marking.
