PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a textile treating agent composition capable of imparting excellent softness and water absorptivity to fibers by dispersing a specific organopolysiloxane in an acidic aqueous solution. SOLUTION: This textile treating agent composition is obtained by dispersing an organopolysiloxane of the formula [R is a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon; A is a monovalent group of the formula R<1> -(NR<2> -R<3> )a -NR<4> R<5> [R<1> is a 1-8C bivalent hydrocarbon; R<2> , R<4> and R<5> are each H or a monovalent group of CH2 CH(OH)CH2 (OC2 H4 )b (OC3 H6 )c OR<6> directly bonded to nitrogen atom [R<6> is H or a 1-8C monovalent hydrocarbon or an acyl; (b) is an integer of 2-20; (c) is an integer of 1-10]; the amount of the monovalent group in the sum total of the R<2> , R<4> and R<5> is >=30mol%; R<3> is a 1-4C bivalent hydrocarbon; (a) is an integer of 0-41 ; X is R, A or a monovalent group of OR<7> (R<7> is H or a 1-8C monovalent hydrocarbon); (m) is a positive number of 5-500; (n) is a positive number of 1-100, with the proviso that at least one of Xs is A when (n) is 0] in an acidic aqueous solution at pH1 to <7. |
