<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cable to be inserted easily, even with a terminal metal fitting set to the tip, and besides, to improve waterproofness. SOLUTION: To improve the waterproofness while inserting a cable 20 where a terminal metal fitting 30 or the like is pressure-welded to the tip, a crease- shaped waterproof wall 12 inclined frontward in the direction of insertion of a lead wire 20 is made from the inside periphery of a tube 11 in a tubular rubber plug 10 for cable, so, when inserting a terminal metal fitting 30 with a large diameter, it is inserted such that the wall widens frontward in the direction of insertion, and after insertion of the same terminal metal fitting 30, the wall recovers easily into thin-diameter condition, and sticks fast to the outside periphery of a thinnish cable 20 so as to waterproof it.</p> |
