<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of nitrogen adsorption in the adsorption step and the yield of oxygen-enriched gas by arranging a low-performance nitrogen adsorbent on the air-feeding side and a high-performance nitrogen adsorbent on the other side. SOLUTION: In an adsorption bed, a low-performance nitrogen adsorbent is arranged on the air feeder side and a high-performance nitrogen adsorbent which has a >=2 higher separation factor based on the binary system adsorption equilibrium in comparison with the lowperformance adsorbent is arranged on the other side in the air-flow direction so that the high-performance adsorbent occupies 25-75% of the total adsorption bed. The pressurized air is fed from the air feeder to the adsorption bed to remove the nitrogen by adsorption, the resultant oxygen air is stored in the surge tank, then charged through a flow meter into bombs.</p> |
