PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicine composition containing ursodeoxycholic acid and lactase, and useful for treating lactose intolerance, especially secondary lactose intolerance highly frequently existing in an inflammatory intestinal disease patient such as ulcerative colitis and in an stomach or intestinal tract after partially removed. SOLUTION: This medicine composition contains (A) ursodeoxycholic acid and (B) lactose preferably in an A:B ratio of 1:1 to 1:4. The component B is galactosidase produced by the genus Aspergillus or tilactase produced by the genus Penicillium. The usage of the medicine composition for a patient is 250-1,500mg/d as the component A. The component B is preferably 5,000-10,000-ONPG units (10ONPG units are an enzymatic activity capable of hydrolyzing 1μmole of a substrate as o-nitrophenyl-β-glactopyranoside, when incubated at 30 deg.C for 1min).
