PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drop of a celing surface-mounted apparatus from the ceiling surface at a low cost through simple structure without reinforcing a mounting strength. SOLUTION: A drop preventing structure of a ceiling surface-mounted apparatus comprises a ceiling surface-mounted apparatus 21 mounted on a ceiling surface 3; a support member 35 fixed at a firm building member 5 at the upper part of the ceiling surface-mounted apparatus; a member 36 for locking fixed to the ceiling surface-mounted apparatus; and a drop preventing member disposed between the support member and the member for locking.
