PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impairment of the musical atmosphere of an original music when the notes for the music including notes having plural note heads are rearranged. SOLUTION: A CPU 5 transfers the melody stored in a data ROM 9 to a melody data area 8m of a work RAM 8 and constitutes another melody by rearranging the data of the plural notes constituting the melody within one measure in every prescribed section at the time of rearranging the data of the plural notes constituting the melody in each of the measures and converting the data into another melody. In such a case, the CPU converts the data on the number of the note heads of the notes having the plural note heads in respective note head units when the data of the notes having the plural note heads exist within the prescribed section. The CPU converts the pitch data in the respective note units, thereby converting the melody into another melody in the state of maintaining the combination of the pitches of the plural note heads. Then, the constitution of the chords of the original music is maintained even after the conversion. |
