PURPOSE: To sufficiently protect the waist part of a person wearing the ski pants, assist the angulation motion necessary for skiing using the parts from the knee to the waist and assist the bending motion of the knee part. CONSTITUTION: A thin and long rod-shaped bone 4 having a wire or plate form and proper elasticity and rigidity and made of a metal or a synthetic resin is attached to the waist part of ski pants at a part to contact with the backbone of the skier. A warmth-keeping member composed of heat-generating fiber having moisture absorbing and desorbing and water-absorbing properties is placed at the waist part of the pants. |
