PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dispersant having superior dispersing ability by specifying the compsn. of polysaccharide and the ratio in the compsn. at the time of utilizing the fact that the polysaccharide produced by a bacterium belonging to Azotobacteraceae has superior dispersing ability to an inorg. substance. SOLUTION: This dispersant contains polysaccharide as an effective component, the polysaccharide consists of D-galacturonic acid, L-rhamnose and D- glucose and the molar ratio of D-galacturonic acid : L-rhamnose : D-glucose is (0.6-1.0):(0.8-1.2):(0.8-1.2). The mol.wt. of the polysaccharide measured by gel permeation chromatography is preferably about 1×10<3> -10×10<6> . It is preferable that the bonding manner of each of the constituent saccharides is practically 1.3 bond and the bonding configurations of D-galacturonic acid, L-rhamnose and D-glucose andα,βandα, respectively. This dispersant has superior dispersing ability. |
