PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color image forming material having enough follow-up property for an image with regard to an image-receiving body of a sheet or the like by forming a specified cushion layer, a release layer and a photosensitive layer in this order from the lower position on the supporting body to constitute the image forming material. SOLUTION: This material consists of a supporting body 4 is prepared by forming a cushion layer 2 and a release layer 3 in this order on a base body 1, and a photopolymerizable photosensitive layer 5 is formed on the surface of the supporting body 4 where the release layer is formed. The cushion layer 2 has 35 to 85 Shore hardness and has 15 to 100μm thickness. In this case, as for the material used for a cushion material, not only a synthetic rubber or natural rubber but such a resin that has 35 to 85 surface hardness, softening property with heat and 30 to 65 deg.C VICAT softening point can be preferably used. These materials can be used as a single material or mixed material, or each single material may be formed into a layer to form a laminar structure. If necessary, additives such as petroleum resin, plasticizer, oil, antioxidant and wax may be added to the cushion layer 2.
