PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the influence of a variation in back pressure and ensure stable discharge, by specifying the size of each part of a nozzle and the viscosity of conductive ink in relation to a discharge cycle at the time of continuous discharge of ink. SOLUTION: In relation to a discharge cycle T (μsec) at the time of continuous discharge, μr/μn, the ratio of a value μn when the length of a nozzle is expressed as (d), the diameter at the inlet side R, the diameter at the outlet side (r), that is, μn=d/ R<2> +r<2> )/4}, to a value μr when the length of a channel is expressed as (l) width as (w), depth as (t), that is, μr=1/ 4wt/2+2w)<2> , and ink viscosity η (cP) at 25 deg.C is made to be 0.65<=μr/μn)×η<=T50. Electrodes 1a, 1b which energize ink, an insulator substrate 2 forming the electrodes, a nozzle plate 3, a pressure chamber 4 which generates boiling bubbles, a nozzle 5 which discharges ink, a channel 6 and a subsidiary channel which supply to the pressure chamber 4 are provided. |
