PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a whole optical system network where an unblocking type optical cross connection exchange structure body with mutual connection bymeans of optical fibering is used as an intermediate node. SOLUTION: An unblocking type cross connection exchanging device where the connection of an optical source waveguide with an optical destination waveguide is established is provided with a wave length dividing and separating means which receives multiplexed wave length information carring an optical signal from the optical source waveguide and separates the received optical signal into N-number wave length and a non-clogging type optical means where wave length is organized in accordance with corresponding wave length in the optical source waveguide, respective kinds of wave length from the respective optical source waveguides carry information for the specified optical destination waveguide and wave length with the common optical destination waveguide re-configurate wave length in order to collect plural kinds of wave length. The device consists of a first space exchange means 18, an order preserving-type wave length converting means 20, the second space exchange means 22 and a wave length dividing and multiplexing means which permits wave length with the same optical destination waveguide to be multiplexed. |
