PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a toner concentration with high accuracy by executing division into two or more bits of information from the output of a permeability sensor and correct a control voltage, based on the value. SOLUTION: In the method of detecting the mixing ratio of toner by the permeability sensor 1, to control the toner concentration, in a developing device using a two-component developer consisting of the toner and carriers charged by the friction with the toner, FFT processing is executed from the output of the permeability sensor 1 by a microcomputer 5a and a DSPFFT processor, so that dividing into two or more bits of information consisting of permeability and others is attained to obtain a correction voltage and correct a reference voltage. Thus, the toner concentration of the developer can be controlled with the high accuracy. |
