PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device capable of obtaining stable printing quality by preventing a defect in printing quality caused by the rising of a toner density when printing is started. SOLUTION: A developing device for the electrophotographic device is constituted so that a photoreceptor drum 4 is driven in a state where the printing and paper feeding are stopped, when the printing is started and in a standing by state for printing before stopping and a developing roll 6 and a carrying roll 7 repeat the stopping and driving in accordance with the detection level of a toner concentration sensor 8. Thus, heaped toner 15 supplied at printing is discharged outside the developing device and the rising of the toner density when the printing is started is suppressed to prevent the defect in the printing quality caused by the rising. |
